The opening of Slavyanka was scheduled for 2022
The seaside port of Slavyanka will open a terminal for storing grain and container cargo. The area allocated for it is more than 130 ha. The new terminal will facilitate the shipping of goods from China, South Korea, Japan, as well as other Russian ports. The first stage – the construction of a multifunctional complex of 40 hectares – should be completed by 2022. Until 2024, it is planned to build a shipbuilding complex. The objective of the project is to create berths for receiving grain and container cargo, repairing the shipyard, storing oil gas and the general development of the port of Nerpa. Slavyanka will become an important link in the Primorye-2 international corridor; Russian and Korean investors are investing in the project.
