Customs clearance: Registration in customs

An important innovation of recent years – the declaration must be submitted only in electronic form. Our specialists are familiar with the full list of necessary documents and with all the requirements for converting documents into a specialized electronic format, claimed by the server of the Federal Customs Service (FCS). Customs can also request certified copies of constituent documents, original bank statements, financial statements and other documents.

For our part, our organization has all the necessary documents that are required for the exercise of authority while monitoring compliance with the terms of acceptance of the customs declaration.

It should be noted that the customs authorities are not entitled to demand documents not provided for by the Law on Customs Regulation in the Russian Federation. Nevertheless, as our practice shows, every customs post can approve its own list of such documents, and you can learn about it only if you apply to a particular post.

After the initial submission of the declaration, the information on the foreign economic activity participant is entered into the customs database. According to experience, it should be taken into account that at the first time, about two months, the customs will intensively control the imported goods and documentation. According to the internal instructions of the customs authorities, after the firm acquires the status of a reliable participant in foreign trade activities, such inspections will become standard.
